What is nBase?
nBase is the provision of our compute and storage platforms,
built on our IBM & EMC architecture, supporting the delivery of our
virtualised services, including Naked Blade.
It is made up of two distinct parts -
- nBlade - which is built on IBM blade infrastructure to provide computing
- nStor - which is built upon the EMC storage platform, and provides a range
nBase forms the basis of HPC's unique WA based nSphere platform and is available
in either a single or multi tenancy configuration. It allows HPC to support those
clients who opt to take the nBlade in a Naked Format, whereby the configuration
and management is done by the client themselves.
What is nBase+?
nBase+ is the provision of our managed services, built upon
the nBase platform, and delivering VM's, Hyper V and Managed Blade solutions.
With nBase+ the configuration of the servers is managed by HPC and provided to the end
user as pre-configured fully managed servers.
This also allows for the provision of our fully managed nBlade, whereby
HPC provide blades pre configured with VM or HyperV.
What is nHost
nHost is the safe, secure and reliable hosting of
client equipment in one of our cloud enabled data centres.
The environment provides true data centre co-location services, using the
HPC model of 'Architecture as a Service', incorporating the
environment, cooling, power and associated redundancy.
Following a 'Power' as opposed to 'Space' billing model, our
clients only pay for what they consume. This in turn offers a truly scalable
solution to hosting requirements - from low density right through to a massive 30kw per rack.

nPlus is our approach to bridging the gap between
